I had some excess of the dandelion wine that stalled out on me. While we're going to give the main gallon some time to age and see how it settles out, we ended with more residual sugar than I wanted, so I decided to try blending it with the tiny test batch I made to try out hydromels and chemical stabilization for the first time.
The hydromel had a nice rosé taste in its own right, and I was actually really surprised how well that came out - but rosé isn't really my thing, so I thought maybe this much cleaner and lower-sugar brew could mix with the dandelion to make something a little bit more interesting.
It could totally flop. But since we're working with such a small amount of homebrew - a basically-failed batch's leftovers and a tiny test batch - I've got far more to learn than I have to lose!
